Located in a picturesque spot with lovely surroundings, in a village where the main activity is agriculture, our House lies five minutes away from the centre of the charming Faial, twenty minutes away from the airport and forty minutes away from Funchal.

The “ Refúgio das Camélias” has been totally refurbished and enlarged to include all the facilites needed to ensure the comfort of our guests. It is surrounded by gardens and lush valleys and mountains. It is an ideal place for nature lovers who take pleasure in mountain walks enjoying the fresh air scented of the hundreds of different species of the richest Madeira flora.
