Faial – a small village with a charming church - is only 6 minutes by car away. There you can find a restaurant and ATM. Also in Faial you can find a small beach in about 10 minutes.
The capital of Madeira (Funchal) is only a 40 minutes ride and you can reach the airport in about 20 minutes.

Refúgio das Camélias is a wonderful and sensitive restored cottage which was carefully expanded over the years. You can find terraces and lovely and charming details throughout the whole building so that you really feel at home.
You have an amazing sight over the surrounding mountains. A great place to start hiking tours- enjoys the fresh air and the wonders of Madeira.
The rooming is without breakfast and based on self catering. The apartments will be cleaned up twice a week.

Location At the airport, head towards Machico / Porto da Cruz / (passing the tunnels) Túnel das Cales / Porto da Cruz / Túnel do Norte / Porto da Cruz Faial - Santana Arriving by boot: Exit the wharf, comes back to the right and follows the indications for the airport. Passing of the airport it follows in the fast way and it leaves in the exit Porto da Cruz - Faial. In the Faial when finding the square takes 1ª exit to the right, from where it will find signs with the indication Refúgio das Camélias .
Túnel da Achada - Faial / Túnel da Cruz - Moinhos - Santana - Ponte do Faial - Lombo Galego/ Refúgio das Camélias.
Follow the road signs until you find Corujeira de Cima and Refúgio das Camélias, go uphill and you will find the Villa on your left.
