Holiday House Quinta do Lagar is located on a plateau at an altitude of about 670 metres, in the parish of Santo António da Serra.

This charming country house offers 4 bedrooms with private bathroom and 1 studio that accommodates 4 persons.

On the site there used to be a house that belonged to a farming family that also made cider. The old house was rebuilt into what is now the Quinta. Cider is still produced in the wine press that lends its name to the property (wine press is "lagar" in Portuguese) and guests are invited to sample this typical beverage.

This beautiful house is surrounded by trees and plants. It is only 20 minutes by car from Funchal and 3 minutes from Santo da Serra Golf Club. Guests will be ideally located for accessing the famous Levada da Serra, for the horse-riding centre or for playing tennis.

From the Airport or from Funchal go to Santa Cruz, after following the indication of Santo António da Serra which come after more or less than 10 Km. In order Santo da Serra – Camacha after about 1 Km enter in the Caminho dad Eiras and 200m. is the Quinta do Lagar.
