The Archipelago of Madeira has several Cultural Entities, namely "Casas do Povo" (Community Centres/Houses), City Councils, Cultural Associations, Cultural Centres, Cultural Departments as well as Libraries, Archives, Galleries and Ateliers. These are entities (organizations) with the aim of promoting and afirming our culture, not only to locals but also to tourists who visit us.
