Casa d'Avó Beatriz is located in a small parish called Gaula, half-way between the ocean and the mountains, in a sunny hillside. A small place where is still possible to hear the rooster sing and the church bell ring.

The main cottage is more than 100 years old and this propriety consists of 3 beautiful houses: the “Mother house”, the “House-of-Cellar” and the “New-House”. The three houses are connected by an outside corridor, which adds to the propriety a charming, rustic and pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is located on the mother house and there is also an outside kitchen. 

Casa d'Avó Beatriz also offers a fantastic swimming pool and a farmland.
This is the perfect destination for those who seek peace and quiet and for those who want to be in touch with nature and with the local agriculture.

This Holiday House is perfectly located. Guests have easy and quick access to the nearest beach, to the mountains and to the traditional "Levadas" walks.

Do Aeroporto – Casa D´Avó Beatriz

A Casa fica a cerca de 15 kms do aeroporto, devendo ser seguida a via-rápida (VR1) em direcção à cidade do Funchal até a saída nº 18 – Gaula.

Do Porto do Funchal – Casa D´Avó Beatriz

Porto do Funchal – Avenida do Mar e das Comunidades Madeirenses – Rua dos Profetas (junto à Casa da Luz) em direcção à saída oeste da cidade.
A Casa fica a cerca de 20 Kms do Funchal, devendo ser seguida a via-rápida em direcção à cidade de Santa Cruz até à saída nº 18 – Gaula.

Após a saida da Via Rápida (Saida N.º 18)

Pela Estrada Padre Alfredo de Freitas, encosta acima, passamos perto do centro da freguesia e também pela Igreja da Achada, podendo desfrutar da soberba vista sobre a parte baixa da freguesia. Ao virarmos na 1ª rua à direita (Rua Dona Felicidade), a seguir à Igreja da Achada chegamos ao nosso destino, uma casa em pedra basáltica, com um letreiro em madeira antiga onde se pode ler “Casa D´Avó Beatriz”.
