Casa do Papagaio Verde is located on a precious green hill, overlooking the sea and the city of Funchal.

It offers three spacious studio self-catering apartments and one "exclusive" self-catering apartment.
Each of the apartments are fully equipped with all the kitchen needs required and have their own ensuite bathrooms, television sets with cable television and sofas or arm chairs.

All have a sea view, facing south and with an excellent solar exposition.

The garden is full of tropical flowers and has an amazing sea view, giving you the feeling of being in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Casa do Papagaio has a mission to protect the environment and boasts absolute respect for Mother Nature.

Driving Directions to the Casa do Papagaio from the airport.

Leave the airport in a southwesterly direction.
There are signs pointing towards Funchal. Follow these.
You must stay on the highway. It is th only one from the airport towards Funchal.
Keep and eye out for the kilometer signs on the highway.
When you see the sign of 12 Kilometers prepare yourself to exit the highway.
This is where you will turn off into the direction of “Santa Rita/Arieiro” on the right. That is, towards the area of Funchal called “Sta Rita”.   Exit number 7.

You will come to a street sign pointing to Funchal. DO NOT TAKE THIS direction sign for Funchal! Just keep on going straight ahead until you find a little roundabout. Go always straight in order to pass in front of a big store whose name´s is ”HIPER MOVEIS” on your right .
Continue straight away and turn right in the next cross and pass underneath the “via rápida” – (this is, you pass under the same highway you just used to get from the aitport to Funchal).

Ahead of you, you will arrive at a sign indicating the “Casa do Papagaio Verde”.
Turn left, and then continue driving untill you find the next sign saying “Casa do Papagaio Verde”. You will see this sign when the road forks into two. Go down in the right road.

You find us right there at the beginning of the road called “Travessa do Papagaio Verde” at the door Nº 31 (in a corner with a big gate).
There you will find the accommodation “A Casa do Papagaio Verde”.
