Holiday Cottages Quinta Devónia is a beautiful agricultural property, classified as Agro-Tourism. It is situated on the slopes of Funchal, in a pure quiet environment wrapped in fresh greenness.
The famous Levada dos Tornos, which stretches from Camacha to Monte, runs through the propriety. Another beautiful Levada Walk, the Levada da Serra, is just 1km further up.
This property consists of a house, where the proprietors live, and three cosy country houses for tourism purposes.
All houses are composed by a living room, a kitchenette, central heating and a little backyard with barbecue. All decorated with antique furniture and familiar objects with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The Tília house has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and Cedro and Nogueira houses have both one bedroom and one bathroom. If necessary it’s possible to provide you with an extra bed. There is also a swimming pool, located on one of the owners house, that can be used by guests.
During your stay , the owners are pleased to offer you several domestic products such as eggs, season fruit and vegetables, to reinforce the idea of natural living in adequate environment. Welcome to Quinta Devónia!

Location
Quinta Devónia is situated on the Funchal slopes, about 8km from the city centre.
To reach the property, on leaving the airport, take the highway and exit at the road sign which reads Boa Nova and turn left. Go along a little further and turn right at the road sign Jardim Botánico and Estádio de Futebol. From here follow the arrows which indicate Estádio do Futebol until you get to a crossroad – Rua Travessa do Largo da Choupana. Quinta Devónia is in this road at no. 18ºC.

As Casinhas de Chocolate da Quinta Devonia
Não deve haver outro lugar tão parecido com um cenário do conto infantil como a Quinta Devónia: os três chalés de pedra escondidos pelo arvoredo imitam na perfeição a casinhas de chocolate da história de João e Maria. Ou serão o lar dos Sete Anões? Esta será a visão dos miúdos; para os adultos, a Quinta é um belíssimo refúgio no cimo de um monte sobranceiro ao Funchal. Seja qual for a nacionalidade é difícil não gostar do local, e também da privacidade que se obtém pelo simples facto das casas estarem imersas numa verdura frondosa, unidas por carreirinhos e escadas de pedra que ligam os socalcos onde se encontram.2013-January-06 - Linda Park
Tilia House
Dear Martim We would both like to thank you for our stay at Tilia. We had a really enjoyable time and loved the area. Being so close to levada walks was a great advantage.
