Quinta São Lourenço is set in a peaceful rural area where the main activity is agriculture, offering guests the opportunity to be in direct contact with nature and with the local inhabitants and their way of living. Furthermore, guests may partake in agriculture and floriculture as implements are at their disposal.
Directions
Take the highway from the airport in the direction of Ribeira Brava, and from there, staying on the main road along the sea front, to Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar. After Paúl do Mar go up to Fajã da Ovelha where you will find “O Precípicio” restaurant. About 50 metres further on, on your right, you will find a signpost to Quinta São Lourenço.

In two weeks we've seen a lot of this beautiful island madeira. We drove more done a thousand kilometrers to see as much as possible. Good morning Linda I am writing to let you know that we were delighted with our accommodation at Casa Grande, Sao Lourenco. Celina met us on our arrival last Monday and we were amazed that she did not just bring bread and breakfast goodies each morning but they were actually part of the 'deal'. The house was spotlessly clean and truly beautiful (only very slight disappointment, no oven, just a hob). The whole place was of a very high standard. Unfortunately, the weather was not too kind and we were unable to use the lovely swimming pool or sit on the terrace in the evenings but the views were magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Madeira, the 'feel' of the island was wonderful (we all felt we could live there very comfortably). A truly magnificent island, superb accommodation - lovely week. The isle is very beautiful, but the Quinta São Lourenço is near the paradise. The family is very fiendly!
