    What is canyoning?

    Canyoning is an exhilarating sport that takes place in a mountainous watercourse and to overcome the obstacles of nature we have to swim, jump and do rappels in small waterfalls. This is an activity that guarantees strong emotions and unforgettable moments close to nature, where you will discover what few people know.

    Canyoning on Ribeiro Frio

    Ribeiro frio is also one of the most beautiful places in Madeira to practice Canyoning. It is a canyon that consists on 6 rappels along the way and the highest is about 20 meters. The Ribeiro Frio Canyon is located within the Laurissilva Forest that is a UNESCO world heritage site. A truly breathtaking landscape.

    Price: 60€ per person.

    Includes: Suit and Neoprene Socks, Eight, harness, Connectors, energy bar, permission to carry out activities in the Forest, Canyoning Monitor, insurance and transportation.

    Duration: 3h 30 minutes.

    What you need to bring? To do Canyoning you need to bring a towel, bathing-suit, sports shoes that you don't mind getting wet (not sandals) and change of clothes. Minimum 4 people.

    Canyoning on Ribeira das Cales

    This Canyoning start in Chão da lagoa at approximately 1500 meters of altitude. Along the route we found 4 rappels being the biggest one about 15 meters high. To overcome the obstacles of nature we need to do rappel, swim and jump in fantastic lakes. In the end of the route we have a fantastic surprise for you!

    Canyoning on Ribeira da Camacha

    Located at almost 3.300 ft (1000m) altitude in the tipical village of Camacha is found a water course in which 850m of its extension is covered. An evenness of approximately 1000 ft (300m) enables 4 abseiling, 1 toboggan and 3 (optional) jumps.

    Price: 60€ per person.

    Includes: Suit and Neoprene Socks, Eight, harness, Connectors, energy bar, permission to carry out activities in the Forest, Canyoning Monitor, insurance and transportation.

    Duration: 3 Hrs

    What you need to bring? swimwear, towel, tennis shoes to soak Minimum 2 people.

    Canyoning on Ribeira das Cales II

    Located at almost 5000 ft (1500m) altitude in Funchal’s Ecological Park is found a water course in which 950m of its extension is covered. An evenness of approximately 1000 ft (300m) enables 4 abseiling, 1 toboggan and 2 (optional) jumps.

    Price: 60€ per person.

    Includes: Suit and Neoprene Socks, Eight, harness, Connectors, energy bar, permission to carry out activities in the Forest, Canyoning Monitor, insurance and transportation.
